i learned to use stippled dots for shading in art class this year (pretty recently actually). this took me 6 hours. my right arm is cramped right now. i don't think i'll be doing another one any time soon. i rushed the hair b/c i couldn't see most of it due to the title blocking it. i used reference for this. it's the cover for the march arena37 magazine. i love this picture so much so i decided to make it like this. gackt's so hot. XD the hair's not the only thing rushed. the outfit was rushed too b/c i got tired. the lips look weird too. it didn't look bad in my sketch but after i started dotting, it looks kinda small and uneven.

i fixed the lips a little and now it looks like he has really dark lipstick on. and i darkened the lines around his face b/c it looked like it was connected to the hair. i hope that makes it better.
